INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL FRONT CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL
|
(a) Apply MP grease to the lip of a new oil seal. |
(b) Using SST and a hammer, tap in the oil seal until its surface is flush with the oil pump body edge.
SST: 09316-60011

NOTICE:
- Keep the lip free from foreign matter.
- Do not tap the oil seal at an angle.
2. INSTALL CRANKSHAFT TIMING PULLEY
|
(a) Align the timing pulley set key with the key groove of the pulley. |
(b) Using SST and a hammer, tap in the timing pulley with the flange side facing inward.

3. INSTALL TIMING BELT
(a) Refer to procedures under "Install Timing Belt"
.
4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 5.4 N·m (55 kgf·cm, 48 in·lbf)
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some system need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected
.
5. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK
6. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK
7. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK
8. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL
9. INSPECT IGNITION TIMING
10. INSPECT ENGINE IDLING SPEED
11. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER NO. 1
